It’s been a busy few weeks, just not with the car. However, last night I did spend a few hours working on it. I got both e-brake brackets built, installed and adjusted. They seem to hold very well, though the real test will be the first time I have to park on a hill. I might keep those wheel chucks in the trunk, just in case…

The only thing left is to paint them and swap out the bolts for grade 8.

On the battery front, I got a call from my customs agent yesterday. She said that the batteries have shipped from China and would be arriving in the U.S. today. If customs goes smoothly, I should have them in my hands by next week!!!

For those of you who have emailed me this week, I am sorry I have not had time to respond. I am working on a Frequently Asked Questions page that will hopefully answer all your questions. I’ll post it soon.

I just wired a large sum of money to China. In a month or so I hope to have batteries…
